"Syria and Iran Reject Bush Attacks on Their Policies", as reported by Reuters, following President Bush's 2005 State of the Union address. Well, maybe slightly more diplomatic than the Iraqi Vice President's 2002 response to President Bush's State of the Union address:
"This statement of President Bush is stupid and a statement that does not befit the leader of the biggest state in the world," Ramadan told reporters after speaking to a legal conference."
Syria and Iran can of course posture all they want, but actions speak louder than words. If they would just look to see what happened just a year later to the Iraqi Vice President (hint: 10 of Diamonds) they may be counting their days.
Big changes could be in store for Syria and Iran. President Bush is not one for platitudes with no substance. I think this address is no different.
